AUS vs ENG Head to Head Records 3rd ODI, Australia’s Head to Head Record Against England– England Tour of Australia 2022. Australia and England go head to head in the third and final ODI in Melbourne on November 22, Tuesday. The Aussies have already won the series by winning the first two games.

They won the first ODI by six wickets and the second by 72 runs while defending 280. England would look to avoid a whitewash in this game.

Both the regular skippers Jos Buttler and Pat Cummins did not play in the second ODI. Moeen Ali led England while Josh Hazlewood led the Aussies. He took two for 33 with the ball. Mitchell Starc and Adam Zampa took two each as England were bowled out for 208.

After the highs of the T20 World Cup, England looked flat with several of their key players missing. The retirement of Ben Stokes from ODI cricket has disturbed the balance of the team.

The Aussies, on the other hand, looked sharp with the bat. Steve Smith scored in both games and in the second he got support from Marnus Labuschagne (58) and Mitchell Marsh (50).

Both teams have resumed their rivalry with this ODI series. England won the T20I series before the T20 World Cup. The ODI series ends on November 22 at the MCG. Australia then travels to England in June next year for the Ashes. The series will constitute five Tests between June 16 to July 31. The Aussies were the winners of the previous Ashes series by 4-0 in their backyard.
